1. Who we are

Numero Business Solutions ("NBS", "we", "us") is a financial consultancy based at Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. For the purposes of the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (the "NDPA"), NBS is the data controller for personal data collected through this website, numerosolutions.com.ng.

This policy covers this website only. Our cloud product, Flow by NBS, has its own privacy terms available at flowbynbs.com. Personal data processed in the course of a client engagement is governed by the engagement letter for that work.

2. The data we collect

We collect personal data in two ways:

• Data you give us. When you email us or otherwise contact us, we receive the details you provide, typically your name, email address, phone number, organisation and the contents of your message.
• Data collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider may record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and performance purposes. Where we use cookies or similar tools, they are limited to what is needed for the site to function and to understand how it is used.

3. How we use it

We use personal data to respond to enquiries, to provide and improve our services, to meet legal and regulatory obligations that apply to professional firms in Nigeria, and to keep this website secure. Where you have agreed to receive updates from us, we use your contact details for that purpose and you may opt out at any time.

4. Our lawful bases

Under the NDPA, we rely on one or more of the following bases depending on the situation: your consent, the performance of a contract with you, compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate interests in running and protecting our practice, balanced against your rights.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who support our operations (for example, website hosting and email services), with our professional advisers where necessary, and with regulators or law enforcement where the law requires it. Service providers act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality.

6. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected. Records connected to professional engagements are retained for the periods required by Nigerian law and professional standards, which is typically six years from the end of the engagement.

7. Your rights

Under the NDPA you have the right to request access to your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent you have given. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take the protection of your data seriously and review our measures regularly.

9. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we take steps to ensure the transfer meets the requirements of the NDPA.

10. Children

This website is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
